- Made templates for every major
- Add plans through transit in DW to all incoming freshmen records
- have very few advisors who have the desire to maintain or update the plans
- have no administrative directive to use plans
- have no restrictions limiting yearly changes to majors or plans
- Uh oh! Now we need plans

- Students need to follow a plan for academic progress
- We have to provide students with a critical path
- We have to report on whether or not students are on track
